POEMS FOR YOU AFTER YOU LEFT AND BEFORE

SICK SOUL

The sound of her footstep fill the room
as my joy of her presence

Seems too good to be true
And as she falls to the ground
Exhausted from hustling
I see nothing but her beauty
And when she slowly rises
And finds me there
We once again make love
to the music
God, it’s great to be back, how I have missed you, you would never know
those days when you were gone were hell And I ask you to answer me
True
Will you stay for good this time
And never let that darkness
descend.
You say yes.
My humming bird of prey
We make the sky
We fill the earth
Our story
A place in Heaven
CAMERA
She
&
Her
Naked in bed
HE bending over her, again and again, in time, the camera makes
sharp rains of flash
hitting her every time
She
smiling, twists in her bed
Naked for him
And
I can see them
From my window
You ask, I say they are far away
But I can just see them
From my apartment
There
where they love
FOR SOMEONE ELSE
Once again an empty space
Is not filled
It is left alone
I do not count my own presence
I do not force myself upon this place
But in fact
If you really had to know
I could not leave if I wanted to
But
I do not want to leave
At all
(if it mattered)
(Does it?)
Today
Do you want to leave
To her(e)?
But just stay
And wait
Where are you?
I give up.
I (REWRITE OF AN OLD POEM DONE ANEW)
I investigate your face
W/ my tongue
Trapping(?) it around you (the tongue)
Like a lasso
And just like little girls
You say
I lóve you
There is a place I would rather be
(It does)
But it isn't here
Wherever you are
The only r/season I lived

On that day I was born
Someones child
Like you
I love you
